Join us at Epsom Downs Racecourse for the annual QEF Ladies Autumn Lunch...
Enjoy a coffee as you browse over 50 handpicked fashion, beauty and homeware stalls selling a range of luxury items, many of which you won't find on the high street.
A perfect opportunity to find some early Christmas presents for your friends and family.
Once you have seen all that our stallholders have to offer, make your way to our drinks reception to enjoy a chilled glass of wine (or juice if you prefer) before moving into our Lunch Suite for a delicious two course meal.
After lunch you will have to opportunity to hear from our special guest; Rev Richard Coles is an English musician, journalist and Church of England priest. Now vicar of Finedon in Northamptonshire, he was formerly the multi-instrumentalist who partnered Jimmy Somerville in the 1980's band The Communards. They achieved three Top Ten hits, including the Number 1 record and best-selling single of 1986, a dance version of "Don't Leave Me This Way". He also appears frequently on radio and television as well as in newspapers. In March 2011 he became the regular host of BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live programme and he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.
Before you leave for home there will be an opportunity to do some more shopping and to claim your raffle/silent auction prizes.
Coffee & shopping from 10.00am
Drinks reception at 12 noon
Two course lunch at 12.45pm (with 1 glass of wine and coffee)
All proceeds raised from this event will go towards QEF's brand new Care & Rehabilitation centre, in particular a state of the art fully assistive bedroom. Our new centre is due to open in Spring 2020, where our two services NRS and ILS will be coming together under one roof. The centre will offer Independent Living for people with disabilities, as well as neuro rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation and transition support for individuals with Acquired Brain Injury from all over the UK. Individuals are supported by a specialist and highly experienced interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who encourage our clients to establish their own goals and maximise their potential through a diverse range of programmes and access to a wide variety of resources.
“Without the QEF I wouldn’t be where I am today. You have given me the confidence to fulfil my ambitions.” - NRS Client
The stalls will stay open whilst you have lunch, so members of the general public can come in and look round the Autumn Shopping Fayre from 1pm-3pm.
So feel free to spread the word about this too.
We look forward to seeing you at the lunch.
