A new Care and Rehabilitation Centre (CRC) has started taking shape in QEF’s grounds. This is our biggest ever investment in our services and our first ever purpose-designed building. We are only at this point because of your vital support.

Together we are building a centre of expertise for people with a wide range of disabilities, providing expert care and rehabilitation to help people increase their independence or rebuild their lives after a stroke, acquired brain injury or a neurological illness. Any one of these conditions could affect any of us. Demand for the support and expertise our services will provide is expected to grow over the next 20 years as more of us are affected by these conditions.

But we need to raise £5 million over the next two years to complete the building and fit it out with the latest equipment. QEF is continuing its history of innovation for disabled
people by pioneering the use of the latest assistive technology, harnessing technology to create greater independence for individuals, enabling severely disabled people to have real control over their environment and reduce reliance on carers.

Can you help us by donating towards one of these?

  • Kitting out a Family Room £3,500
  • Environmental Controls for Bedrooms £8,000
  • Treatment Room £10,000
  • Assisted Bathroom £17,500
  • Fireproof Lift with Generator £58,690
  • Commercial Kitchen £70,000
Every donation will help us build and equip the CRC. To donate please click here.

Or please consider setting up a direct debit.

Direct debits allow us to plan in a more efficient way, save us some administrative costs and let us set budgets with the reassurance that we have the income to back the decisions we make. If you are able to consider a regular gift to QEF, please click to download our Direct Debit Form.

While some UK charities have hundreds of thousands of people to call on, QEF relies on just 16,000 or so friends and supporters who enable us to help around 5,000 disabled children and adults every year. That’s an incredible one person helped by each four supporters – so you can see how what a vital role you play.
